    Ordered Arrangement

    Hello everyone!

    How can I solve the following?

    How many different ordered arrangement can be formed
    using the letter P E P P E R?

    I know I need to use permutations, but the is there any special rules when the letters repeat?

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

    Just a little tweak here--

    You have 3 P's, 2 E's and 1 R in PEPPER, so the number of arrangements is

    \frac{6!}{3! 2! 1!}
