You travel from San Diego to San Francisco. There are 3 ways to Los Angeles, 2 ways to Beverly Hills from Los Angeles and 4 ways to San Fransisco from Los Angeles. How many different ways you may travel from San Diego to San Francisco?

From SD to LA you can travel in 3 different ways.
From LA to BH you can travel in 2 different ways and from BH to SF you can travel in 4 different ways.
so posible ways to travel from SD to SF are 3 x 2 x 4 = 24
