P(S' and T' and U') = (1-0.05)*(1-0.1)*(1-0.15)
= 0.72675
P((S' and T and U)+(S and T' and U)+(S and T and U')) = (0.95*0.1*0.15)+(0.05*0.85*0.1)+(0.05*0.1*0.85)
= 0.02275
It would be more than wonderful if someone had an answer for this:
- Three players (S, T & U) are trying to hit the goal. The likelihoods that they will miss the goals are 5%(S) 10%(T) and 15%(U)
- They are going to try again. What is the likelihood that 1.) They all succeed 2.) Two of them misses the goal
