    Need Help Finding Tolerance

O.k. I cannot find anything on the web on how to find tolerance in relationship to diameter. So any help will be great!

This is what I need help with:

A bath tissue is 4" in diameter, the customer requires +/- 1/8"

    What is the upper tolerance?
    What is the lower tolerance?

Forgot How do you find the answers step by step in simple terms I can understand.

    Help!

    Upper tolerance: 4+\tfrac{1}{8}=\dots
    Lower tolerance: 4-\tfrac{1}{8}=\dots
