    What is the difference between the two in statistics ?

    Hi
    The positive square root of the average of the sum of the squares of all the deviations from the mean is called the standard deviation.
    There r some formulas for grouped and ungrouped data to find the standard deviation
    Variance is the square of the standard deviation
