okay, I am in 10th grade and I am in Math B2. So I have this statistics project and There is a question on my project that goes a little something like this:
Arrange your information on the Normal Bell curve. Explain whether the curve has a normal distribution, the mean is in the middle; if it is negatively skewed the curve slants to the right; or if it is positively skewed the curve slants to the left. Why?
Okay, so I learned about normal distribution but not about skewed curves. my data forms a bimodal curve, according to the frequency polygon. here is my infromation and data:
4.00 4.20 4.50 4.60 4.60 4.70 4.90 5.10 5.40 5.50 5.60 5.60 5.80 6.00 6.10 6.80 6.90 7.50
Mean = 5.43
95% confidence interval for actual Mean: 4.951 thru 5.916
Standard Deviation = 0.971
Hi = 7.50 Low = 4.00
Median = 5.45
Average Absolute Deviation from Median = 0.767
Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How do I answer the question?
