If $\displaystyle x- y< \epsilon/2$ and $\displaystyle y- z< \epsilon/2$, then $\displaystyle x- z= (x- y)+ (y- z)< \epsilon$.

Dear HallsofIvy

Thank you for your reply,

could you please discuss about the answer to let me understand

x converge in probability to y does it mean x-y<epsilon/2

please clarify the answer

Thank you
