# Equivalent score

Equivalent score
For Test A, the mean was 13 and the standard deviation was 2.

For Test B, the mean was 12 and the standard deviation was 4.147288271.

For a score of 15 in Test A, what is the equivalent score in Test B? Why?

I got 11 using the Z score formula (by saying that since the Z score for Test A was 1 and the Z score for Test B was 0.723364233, the equivalent score could be simply worked out by multiplying 0.723364233 by 15). That doesn't seem right though.

Any help?
