    1) Relax
    2) Stop, Breathe
    3) Think throug each problem ONE STEP AT A TIME.
    4) WRITE DOWN more than you think you need.

    Let's try the first one.

    Rule #1 - Name Stuff

    Reading the problem, we're going to need to know the price of Apples and the Price of Bananas and the Price of Pears.

    A = Price of 1 Apple
    B = Price of 1 Banana
    P = Price of 1 Pear

    That's it!

    Read and Translate.

    "Five apples and six bananas together cost as much as 8 bananas and 9 pears"

    5A + 5B = 8B + 9P

    "one apple cost as much as 2 pears "

    A = 2P

    "for the same price as 1 pear, how many bananas could be bought?"

    P = xB

    Your task is to solve for x.

    Let's see what you get.

    Solution for problem #3

    So, this looks pretty straight forward. Just add all those 8 numbers and you will get 12345686. Then when you look at the hundred part you see 686, meaning there are 6 hundreds and the answer is G.

    Solution to problem #4

    4.Mario, John and Boris are teenagers and the sum of their ages now is 49. the sum of their ages 8 years from now will be F, and the sum of their ages 10 years was P. The value of F-P is.

    Are you sure the question is written correctly? Or should say and the sum of their ages 10 years ago was P?

    I am pretty sure there is some key word missing in this question.

    Otherwise, if you assume that it says 10 years from now then P = 30 (3 x 10), F = 24 (3 x 8), but then if you calculate F-P = 24 - 30 = -6, and there is no such answer.
