I need understanding some of the conceptual based problems in the Hypothesis testing...
--->Is it true if the p-value = .058 and the significance level is .05, then we accept the null hypothesis.
I think here we are going to use the rejection rule: if alpha(significance level) < .05 then p-value<alpha
---> H0: mu = 52 and HA: mu < > 52
then, If we reject the above null hypothesis at the .05 significance level, then 52 is not in our 95% Confidence Interval for mu.
---> If the 90% confidence interval for the difference between two population proportions contains zero, then we cannot conclude that the proportions are different.
