    Probability Probelms & Counting Techniques

    Solve for n! (now this stuff i really hate!!!)

    n!/(n-2)! = 132

    \frac{n!}{(n-2)!} = \frac{(n)(n-1)(n-2)(n-3)(n-4)...}{(n-2)(n-3)(n-4)...} \Rightarrow \frac{n!}{(n-2)!} = n(n-1) \Rightarrow n^2 -n - 132 =0 \Rightarrow (n-12)(n+11)=0 \Rightarrow n=12.
