Hi,
I'm a total newbie trying to get into statistics.
I need some advice.
I'm looking for a self study route (through books) to get me from total beginner to intermediate.
To be honest, I have seen some books that looked to be suitable, but my algebra knowledge is very low too. This has made it very frustrating to me, not knowing where to start.
So what sequence of books, starting at the type of algebra required for statistics, could you recommend to me?
Eventually, I would like to specifically focus on forecasting through regression analysis and statistical models.
Please let me know your suggestions...
Jason
