In order for a fst food restaurant to recieve a superior rating, the kitchen staff must recieve a rating of at least 4 on a scale from 1 to 5 and the counter crew must receive a rating of 5 on a scale from 1 to 5 during a corporate review. The probability of a kitchen drew recieving a score of 4 or better in ant given restaurant is 87%. The probability the counter crew recieves a rating of 5 is 75% fir any given restaurant.

b. Find the probability that a restaurant will not recieve high enough scores in either catergory.
c. Find the probability that a restaurant will not recive a superior rating.

Assume that the score received by the kitchen staff is independent of the score received by the counter crew. Then use the formula Pr(A and B) = Pr(A) Pr(B).

I am still not getting the problem. I need more details on how to figure it out and where you got the #

a. Pr(kitchen staff get a rating more than 4) times Pr(counter crew get a score of 5) = (0.87)(0.75) = .....

b. Pr(kitchen staff get a rating less than 4) = 1 - 0.87 = 0.13.
Pr(counter crew get a score less than 5) = 1 - 0.75 = 0.25.

c. Pr(kitchen staff get a rating less than 4) times Pr(counter crew get a score less 5) = .......
