    spearmans rank

    i am using spearmans rank for my homework. ive put the numbers into the formula but can get the answer can somebody help please:


    P = 1 – (6∑23830)/60(60-1) =

    The formula to calculate the Spearman's rank correlation coefficient is:

    \rho = 1-\frac{6\cdot \sum d_i^2}{n(n^2-1)}

    If (and only if) 23830 is the sum of the squared differences then you must calculate:

    \rho = 1-\frac{6 \cdot 23830}{60(60^2-1)} \approx 0.33787
