    Question Finding new correlation coefficient

Hey there... hopefully someone out there can help me with this.

Bivariate set (x,y) has a correlation coefficient of 0.91. What is the correlation coefficient between s and t if s = 2t and t = 1-y. Thanks heaps!!!

If you have types this correctly the correlation coefficient between x and y is irrelevant, the correlation coefficient between s=2t and t is 1.

The correct answer is 1. But how do you get it? Is it because it's linear?
