Mutually exlcusive or not?
Mutually exclusive events are always independent. Is this
true or false? Why?

If A and B are mutually exclusive events, then $\Pr(A \cap B) = 0$.

If A and B are independent events, then $\Pr(A \cap B) = \Pr(A) \cdot \Pr(B)$.

So what do you think and why?

Hint: The statement is false.
