I see not way to help.
It says this woman. Well what woman?
It seems as if the post is just part of a larger question that we do not see.
    Can you correct the post?

    Hi,

Here is the entire problem. I only need help with D.

    1. In a study designed to gauge married women’s participation in the workplace today, the data provided in the file HW_03 were obtained from a sample of 400 randomly selected married women. Consider a woman selected at random from this sample in answering following questions.
    a. What is the probability that this woman has a job outside the home?
    b. What’s the probability that this woman has at least one child?
    c. What is the probability that this woman has a full-time job and no more than one child?
    d. What is the probability that this woman has a part-time job or at least one child, but not both?

In the future please post the entire question.

    My apologies. I will.

I was told by a tutor that it was part of the formula. I suspect the tutor is wrong.

Well what you have is correct, I just wondered why you did it that way.
I counted $\#(A\cap B^c)+\#(A^c\cap B)=21+238=259$ Which is what you have.

You do realize that it makes no sense to talk about "P(A)" and "P(B)" when you haven't said what "A" and "B" are, don't you?
