    Analysis

    Today we have 20 engineers working that are planned to 90% capacity; we have then had 2 engineers call into to advise they will not be attending work today due to sickness.
     What do you need to consider?
     What actions do you take?
     What is your success?

    Does this question mean that with 2 engineers off sick will the capacity of work increase or decrease ? please explain

    Thank you

    Re: Analysis

    Get the 18 engineers that are left to work at 100% capacity;
    that's same results as 20 engineers at 90% capacity...

    Thank you.
    Can you explain which statistical test you would use if applicable ?

    Re: Analysis

    I don't see how statistics or any "statistical test" has anything to do with this. 20 workers working at "90% efficiency" will perform the work of 20(.90)= 18 men working at "100% efficiency". So 18 men working at 100% efficiency would do the same work.
