    Simple question - t distribution tables?

    What do you when you need to investigate a regression etc with lots of samples. ie the question I am stuck with requires me to obtain a critical value based on 483 degrees of freedom but t tables only go to 120?

    When your degrees of freedom are more than what a table has, then use the maximum value. In most case, the max value listed in a table is extremely close to the limiting value.
