i have this funny feeling that the answer is right in front of my face i just cant see it and it is begining to bug me.

so i have tried over and over again to do this problem but it is supposed to end up with an answer without a square root sign or a fraction. but it is supposed to have the i sign in it? i am so lost

ok this is the question:

$(-81/25) ^ {1/10}$

it is supposed to be to the tenth root but i had to change the format because i do not know how to write roots on this forum.

i know i should know this but i cant seem to figure it out.

thank you so much for your time and help i really need it

sorry guys i just figured it out i was reading the problem wrong (because it is a computer based program i am doing my algebra 2 on) and they are square rooted not to the tenth root.
which of course makes a whole lot more sense but i seem to like to make problems a whole lot more complicated then they are.

but thank you for your time

2. Your title says REAL NUMBERS.
There are no real numbers that are the tenth root of a negative number.

my title says that because that is the subchapter that the assignment this question comes from.

4. Even with the edit you did, it makes no difference.
There are no real square roots of any negative real number.
