Ok, so I've been asked this question.

Agree or disagree: Conceptually, all t-tests measure essentially the same thing

I assume agree, that it is testing a sample or samples probability of being accurate, but I could be totally wrong? Lol

Hey pangn.

Hint: What parameter is dealt with in the hypothesis tests involving the t-statistic? Is it the same across all tests and if so what is being tested in a qualitative manner? - Nov 10th 2013, 08:48 AMpangnRe: Difference in T-Tests?
The mean of the sample?

Not quite: it involves the population means. The sample means are exactly known while the population means are not.
