    Statistics data distribution shapes

    Hey, for the graph in is it (1) cosidered normall distribution with the data fairly symetrical about the median wheras (2) is skewed to the right, also with data fairly symetrical about the median?

    Just because the box is symetric about the median does not mean one automatically can consider the data to be a sample from a normal distribution. Give the relative sizes of the wiskers in (1) I would consider it probably skewed left.
