    Proportions and Expected.

The Proportion of college student who take Stats is P=.22

A)If 200 college students are selected at randon, how many would you expect to take Stats?

I am confused on how to input this was in in Ti-84. I go to to binompdf, right? But that does not seem right because it doesn't give it the numbers that I believe will be the answer. Trials 200, P: .22 not sure what the x value would be.... Can I get a helping hand on this one?

B).. I want to see if I did this right.

If 80 college students are selected at random. what is the probability that more than 22 of them take Stats?

I got .0510... I put this in the binompdf

    Hey Past45.

Since you have such a large sample, try using the Normal approximation for the binomial. Do you know how to do this?
