6-Digit number
Hello ,
i don't really know if i am posting in the right section i just need help for a simple question
i have to create a six digit number when the first number is 1 and the last one 5 and all numbers can be used for each digit.
so i don't know if the right answer is 1*10*10*10*10*1 (sounds more logical to me than the number 5 is static) or 1*10*10*10*10*5

$10^4$ is correct.

Re: 6-Digit number
You are counting the number of possible digits at each place. The fact that the last digit must be "5" means there 1 possible digit there, not 5 possible digits.
