    10. suppose that P(A)=p1 ,P(B)= p2 , P(C)=p3 .write down the probability that at least one of the three events A,B or C will occur .
    i.P(A^cUB^c)=
    ii.P(A^cB)=
    iii.P(A^cUB)=
    iv.P(A^cB^c)=

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
11.give that : P(A)=P(B)=P(C)=1/4,P(AB)=P(CB)=0 and P(AC)=1/8 ,compute the probability that at least one of the three events A,B or C will occur .

    \begin{array}{rcl}<br />
 P(A^c \cup B^c ) & = & 1 - P(A \cap B) \\ <br />
 P(A^c \cap B) & = & P(B) - P(A \cap B) \\ <br />
 P(A^c \cup B) & = & 1 - P(A \cap B^c ) \\ <br />
 P(A^c \cap B^c ) & = & 1 - P(A \cup B) \\ <br />
 \end{array}<br />
