1. Instead find the probability of the complement, i.e. sum is 4. There are 3 ways to get a 4 because (1,3),(2,2),(3,1) so the probability is 3/36 = 1/12.

2. Instead find the probability of the complement, i.e. each one is at most 2. Thus, (1,1),(2,1),(1,2),(2,2) which is 4/36 = 1/9.

3. These are (1,1),(2,1),(1,2) which is 3/36 = 1/12.
