    True or False

    2009 students are taking part in a test compromising of true or false questions. Find the minimum number of scripts required to guarantee at least 9 identical answers.

    Can anyone tell me why is the answer 9^2+1 =513

    ^ is to the power of.

    What are scripts? What do you mean by an "identical answer"? That all students answer one question the same way? By the way, 9^2 +1 = 82 not 513. So, even if we were to clear the question up, the answer is nonsensical.
