Thread: Help with writing null/alternative hypothesis

I need to assess the efficacy of the drug treatment by comparison with the placebo treated (basically what is better) by t-test unparied but I cannot figure out what is the null and the alternative hypothesis.

Usually if you want to compare things like this you need to look at comparison of means. Does this hint help you with the hypothesis formation?
