Help needed in setting up data for statistical anaysis

Hello,

I'm looking to make use of the data supplied by the NHS here: Statistics on Alcohol England 2010 .xls file

I was hoping to run a regression to see if there was a significance between alcohol consumption and the number of hours worked, type of job, marital status, where they live in the UK etc;

So I'm looking at tab 2.10 - 2.14,

I'll be thinking fo creating a dummy variable for male/femand and/or location in the UK.

Can you suggest a method of me collecting all this data so that I can run the regression, I am trying to arrange it in a such a way that I can put it through eviews

This sounds like a programming/tool problem rather than a statistical problem.

Firstly what is eviews and its interfaces/data definitions/export and import functionality and secondly, what format is the data in currently?
