I don't understand the terminology 'summarising investigations'? (Worried)Can someone please explain, thanks

We need a reference for context. Do you have any test results to report? Summary statistics? p-values? Confidence intervals? Outliers? Interpretations? Conclusions?

It was a test question where you got 6 choices of sentances & you had to pick 2 that were summarising investigations. The trouble wasthat I didn't understand what it meant so couldn't even try to decide. Thanks
