    Maximum Likelihood Estimate For A Poisson Mass Function ...

    with mean μ is ((μ ^ x) * ((exp) ^ -μ)) / x!

    The log likelihood is x * log(μ) − μ. (Answer)

    How do I arrive at the log likelihood provided?

    Can I get a refresher on logs please?

    Hey dorkboy.

    The log laws are such that log(xy) = log(x) + log(y) and log(a/b) = log(a) - log(b), and log(a^b) = b*log(a).
