Thread: Resonance Data fitting procedure

Dear All:

is there's any one familiar with the fitting procedure for resonance data?
simply my proplem like this:
i have a huge quantity of data, with a lot of resonance peaks, the common methods for data fitting is not working for this kind of data, it needs a speical way to deal with it, until now i cant figure it out,

Have you tried projecting this to an orthogonal Fourier Series basis? This way you can actually get information in the frequency domain for each harmonic.

Also try and look at stochastic processes that add random variation to this process for analysis where you can add uncertainty to the co-effecients and other probabilistic attributes.

You're going to have to do that yourself because frankly, I don't know what is out there.

You should look at the signal processing stuff in something like MATLAB for this kind of thing.

SPSS has a spectral analysis function.
