Simple Summation Problem
I was marked wrong for this problem, but I think I am right. Can someone help me?

Evaluate:

3
$\sum$ $\imath$3
$\imath$=1

I came up with 18 for my answer, but like I said, I was marked wrong.

Re: Simple Summation Problem
OK, so that is $\imath$ cubed, not $\imath$ multiplied by 3?

Re: Simple Summation Problem
You should get extra credit because you marked 18 which does not even exist on the answer sheet!

Haha! I thought the answer was 18 so I marked "none of the above".
