I'm doing my statistics homework, and when it comes to random samples and simple random samples, I am completely lost. One of the questions I have, asks me to explain whether a sampling plan is done w/ simple random sample or random samples. "Beecham plans to conduct a marketing survey of 100 men and a 100 women in Orange County, which consists of an equal number of men and women. Does this sampling plan result in a random sample or simple random sample? explain." I've been looking over the definition of the two words over and over again in hopes of something clicking, but so far the hw question makes no sense to me and I am in desperate need of some explanation. Please help!!
