    1.What is the probability of choosing a 2 or a heart from a deck of cards?

    2.Chet is applying to both NYPD and CSI. The probability that he gets into NYPD is 0.6. The probability that he gets into CSI is 0.7. The probability that he gets into both is 0.4. What is the probability that he gets in to only NYPD?

    3.Approximately 8/% of high school actors go on to perform in college. Of these college actors, only 1.9% go on to have a professional career. What is the probability that a high school actor will go on to play a professional career?
