    Post Help with probability

    I am not very good with Algebra. Need all the help I can get.

    On a horse farm there are 26 horses, 14 are ponies. If seven horses are selected at random, determine the probability they are all ponies.

    Re: Help with probability

    Probability of selecting a pony is 14/26. If the first horse selected is a pony, the probability of the next horse being a pony is 13/25...and so on. So,

    P(all 7 horse being ponies)=(14/26)*(13/25)*(12/24)*(11/23)*(10/22)*(9/21)*(8/20) = 0.0052

    \dfrac{\dbinom{14}{7}}{\dbinom{26}{7}}
