Statistics and Probability Question/ Give The Mean

    Suppose that A and B are independent events such that P (A) =0.10 and P (/B) = 0.60

    Find P (A n B) and P (A U B)

    P ( A n B) =

    P (A U B) =

    Find P (A n B) and P (A U B)
If H~\&~K are independent events then
    P(H\cap K)=P(H)\cdot P(K)
    P(H\cup K)=P(H)+P(K)-P(H)\cdot P(K).

I have never seen the notation P(/B).
