    Theory Question

    I have some questions....

    For a sample of size 20, the sampling distribution of the Xbar will be normally distributed

    a.regardless of the distribution shape of the variable in the population
    b.if the standard deviation of the population is known
    c.if the variable in the population is normally distributed
    d.if the sample is normally distributed
    (c) and (d) are both true

    b. knowing the standard deviation of the population does not effect the
    distribution of the mean
    c. is true
    d. is meaningless - a sample is a sample
