Thread: Calculate Incoming From Completed And Outstanding

Please forgive me if this is a completely stupid question.

I look after a team in work and members of the team all have diary to complete.

The only information we have stored each day is the number of diary outstanding as of 9:00 AM and the number completed that day.

From this information is there any way I can calculate the number of incoming/new diary each day?
