another Normal Distribution question
Hi
Can someone help me on the following question
The bonding strength of a drop of plastic glue is normally distributed with mean 103.7kg and standard deviation 8.1kg. A broken plastic strip is repaired with a drop of this glue and then subjected to a test load of 98kg.
->What is the probability that the bonding will fail?
->What would the test load have to be for the probability of bond failure to be 0.1?

Have you found a z-value yet?

These are routine questions, the sort found in every textbook that covers normal distribution. Have you reviewed the examples in your textbook and class notes?
