I need help to solve a question on 6 sigma.
Ex: A magazine publishing company set a standard that subscription applications be processed within three days of receipt. If, out of a sample of 1000 applications, 50 fail to meet this requirement, at what sigma level is this process operating?
50/1000 = 0.05

find z0 such that:
doing this we find that z0=1.645 which is the sigma level that the process
is operating at.
