Mostly, in my view, the request for a 95.44% interval is a little silly. Is there REALLY data to justify that?
I am trying to calculate the confidence interval for this problem using my T-84
I go to Stat>Test>7 and get a value so close to the right answer (22772,30058). However the correct answer is (22769.83, 30059.41). How can I get a more precise answer, which is equal to the one provided? the calculator doesn't include the cents.
Rather than maim yourself, why not figure out the error? The "correct" answer appears to be incorrect. That coresponds to a 95.45% Confidence Interval and is just as silly as that requested in the problem statement.
