Hello!

I am Mateo and I have a probability question in my class that I not know formula for! Help please! Here is the question, translated to english:

An factory has 8 departments in its administartive structure and each department has a certain amount of faults as follows:

this is a table, I don't know how to draw one here:

Department: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
#faults: 3 2 1 0 1 2 0 1

Now, I have to prepare a table of ditribution of properties!
I know that I have

x and p(x), but I don't know the formula to calculate p(x). It's not in the papers given! thank you for your help!

Let x be a number of faults than p(x) is the proportion of departments with x faults.

So if x=0 p(x)=2/8=1/4 which is the number of departments with 0 faults divided by the total number of departments.

Similarly p(1)=3/8 etc
