I haven't done much math in a while and I really need help learning how to do probability. The question is:

Sixteen students (made up from 10 men and 6 women) have volunteered to be ushers at a concert. Since only 4 ushers are required, a draw will be made to select them. What is the probability that the ushers selected will be:

a) 4 Women
b) 4 Men
c) 2 Men and 2 Women

I would really appreciate if someone could help me learn this as soon as possible!

For part (a), can you say in how many ways can 4 women be chosen from 6 women? And in how many ways can 4 people be selected from 16 people? You need to have concept of "combination" for that. Have you learnt it?

Uhm, would you go 6 C 4 = 15

and 16 C 4 = 1820?

So the required probability for part (a) is 15/1820.
Try the other two in the same manner.
