    why????

    hi frienZz,

    there is an article written:
    " if p is equally likely to take any value in [0,1], then P(0.1<p<0.5)=0.4
    why between 0.1 and 0.5 ? and why the ans is 0.4?

    For 0<=m<n<=1

    P(m<p<n)=length of the interval=n-m
