    median and quartiles of a grouped frequency

    when presented with a grouped frequency distribution, is there any other way to find the quartiles other than drawing up a cumulative frequency diagram?

    Hey furor celtica,

    You can count the samples to find where 25%-50%-75% roughly fall.
