    Very simple problem I'm having trouble with

    f(x)=0.8x^2 over the interval 0 \leq x \leq c. Find c.

    What do I do exactly..?

    Am I correct in assuming that this is a probability density function?

    If so, remember that probability density functions have an area of 1.

    Solve for c: \displaystyle \int_0^c 0.8x^2 \, dx = 1.
