    Why the Least Square line is called Best Fit? In which case, least square line passes through the origin? " please answer me in 60 to 70 words. thanks

    Look at here, the reasoning behind least squares method is explained.

    Basically we minmize the total error in terms of squares. Because it is easier to deal with square than with other stuff.
