Thread: Reaction Time Test For IB Maths Project

Hi,

For my IB Maths Studies Project I am going to look at people's reaction times and then compare them and see which factors affect them most as well as looking at correlation, standard deviation etc etc.

I need to collect as much data as possible and so I was wondering whether you would mind going onto:

Online Reaction Time Test

And then stating:
-Your gender
-Your age
-Whether you smoke (Yes or No)
-Whether you drive (including lessons-Yes or No)
-How many hours you play computer games a week (games, not social networking/internet research etc)
-How many hours you spend playing sport a week
-Which hand you write with
-Your date of birth

I'm not using any names in my project so don't worry about that, if you could just answer it as accurately as poss I would appreciate it. Thanks! x

Age: 18
Smoke?: No
Drive (including lessons): No
Hours of computer games a week: > 1
Hours playing sport a week: > 1 ( I used to do more, but I have exams in a month, and I don't have as much time)
Righty/Lefty: Righty
Birthdate: 19 June 1992

However, I'm often on the computer for more than 4 hours a day, and for a longer period of time when I don't have school, browsing forums mainly.

There was a slight problem with the original timing, despite being R-handed I have this machine set up with the mouse to the left, so the original timings (above) are L-handed. I have repeated R-handed and the timings are below:
