    Independent machines

There are two independent machines (1 and 2). The probability that a product is produced from either machine is equal (0.5). The probability that the product from machine 1 conforms is 0.96, and non-conforms .04. Machine 2 has probabilities 0.94 and 0.06.

Question: What is the probability that the product came from machine 1 and also conforms?

    I just multiplied 0.5(0.96) = 0.48??
